Royal Engineers Rise to the Top at Somerset Military Lodge

The Army are once again leading the charge at Somerset Military Lodge (SML) with ex Royal Engineer Mike Parnell installed into the Masters Chair. The ceremony was lead by Matt Williams who with the assistance of the members of the Lodge, installed Mike in fine form.

The Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies (PAGDC) Chris Hole escorted the Provincial Senior Grand Warden, Garry Hawkes into the Lodge who was representing the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master. Garry is a current member and DC of SML.

At the festive board Mike thanked the brethren for being installed as the 3rd Worshipful Master of the Lodge. With over 70 brethren present they were then treated to a sumptuous Festive Board, where there was lively banter and the mickey taken out of the RAF.
