A “Doubly Good” Ceremony in Chard

The Lodge of Prudence and Industry in Chard has had a large queue of candidates for initiation so they have been doing multiple ceremonies and extra “emergency” ceremonies. The last meeting was a case in point. The Lodge performed a double First Ceremony to initiate Mr Gary Huntley and Mr Mark Davies. A third candidate had to withdraw late on or this would have been a triple ceremony.

The ceremony was conducted by the Master Andrew (Mac) Mackay, ably assisted by his team and some stand-in  officers replacing others who were away on holiday. It went extremely well, and a thoroughly good evening was had by all.
