St Dunstans Lodge celebrate 60th Anniversary

At its regular June meeting, St Dunstans Lodge celebrated 60 years since it was consecrated. The Worshipful Master, W Bro Graham Hayman, called for a “gentlemens’ evening” to be held to which prospective candidates were invited. 

Several interested gentlemen attended and were given introductions to masonry inside the temple at Glastonbury. There then followed a short quiz consisting of some surprisingly difficult questions, resulting in a tie break question to decide the results between the DC and the lodge’s longest subscribing member.

A festive board was held after which was enjoyed by all, especially given the addition of a spectacular anniversary cake.

To follow this evening up, the brethren and their families enjoyed an anniversary meal at The Crown in Pilton. Rumour has it there was more cake involved at this event too!
