Dungarvan Chapter Installation Convocation At Frome.
The Companions of Dungarvan Chapter and their guests were delighted to be joined by E. Comp’s Neil Hurcum, Deputy Grand Superintendent and Martin Slocombe, Second Provincial Grand Principal, at their Installation Convocation at Frome Masonic Hall on the evening of Thursday 28th September.
The occasion saw the Installation of Neil Beckett as First Principal and Terry Hulbert as Third Principal for the ensuing year.
Unfortunately, Second Principal Elect, Paul Dicken, was unable to make this meeting so E. Comp Matt Williams kindly stepped-in to act as Terry’s Installing Principal, and what a brilliant job he did at such short notice, too!
The atmosphere during the meeting, and at the Festive Board afterwards, was very convivial and relaxed as the Chapter embarks on what it hopes will be another successful year.
The newly installed Principals got off to a very positive start with the members electing to make a substantial donation to the town’s food bank which, when the application is made, should be topped-up to a total of £500 by the Provincial Grand Chapter of Somerset.
